The Roll Number Slip (Admit Card) is the most critical document for AIOU students. It contains your Exam Center details, dates, and timings for the Autumn 2025 final examinations. Without a printed copy of this slip and your original CNIC, the Center Superintendent has the authority to deny you entry into the examination hall.

Immediate Action Required: Download your slip at least 3 days before the first paper. Do not wait for the postman, as AIOU has largely discontinued sending hardcopy slips for BS and B.Ed programs.

1. How to Download Step-by-Step (CMS Portal)

The process has changed slightly with the new Oracle system. Follow these steps to generate your PDF:

  1. Click the "Generate Slip Now" button above.
  2. Enter your User ID and Password to log in to the CMS.
  3. Click on the "Exam & Grades" tile on the dashboard.
  4. Select "My Exam Schedule" from the left menu.
  5. Click the "Search" button (leave the fields blank to see all papers).
  6. Your schedule will appear. Press Ctrl + P to save it as a PDF.

2. The Printing Mistake Everyone Makes

Most students simply click "Print" and end up with a cut-off document. The CMS table is wide. If you print in default mode, the "Center Name" column usually gets cut off, rendering the slip invalid.

Portrait Mode

DO NOT USE: This vertical orientation cuts off the exam center details. The superintendent will reject this.

Landscape Mode

CORRECT: Change printer settings to "Landscape" (Horizontal). This fits the full table on one A4 sheet.

3. Troubleshooting: Slip Not Showing?

If you click "Search" and see "No matching values were found," check the following reasons:

  • Fee Default: Have you paid your full semester fee? If the second installment is pending, AIOU blocks the slip. Clear dues via JazzCash/EasyPaisa immediately.
  • Assignment Failure: For Matric/FA, if you failed to submit assignments or they were rejected, you are not eligible for the final exam.
  • System Glitch: Sometimes the portal is down. Try checking late at night (after 11 PM) when server traffic is low.

4. Corrections: Wrong Name or Center?

If your Name, Father's Name, or Picture is incorrect, you can still take the exam. Bring your original CNIC; the superintendent will verify your identity. However, if the Center is too far (e.g., in another city), you must apply for a change immediately.

Note: Center change is NOT allowed within the same city. It is only allowed if you have genuinely shifted to a new district.

5. Critical Exam Hall Rules (Avoid UMC)

AIOU has strict discipline policies. Violation can lead to a UMC (Unfair Means Case), which bans you for 3 years.

  • No Mobile Phones: Strictly prohibited. There is no safe custody at the center. Leave it at home.
  • Original ID: You must bring your original CNIC (or Token with Photo). Photocopies are often rejected.
  • Timings: Doors close 15 minutes after the paper starts. Arrive at 1:30 PM for the Evening shift (2:00 PM start).
